How to Make Shamrock Marble Painting
1. Print the Shamrock Template
Print your shamrock template on cardstock. Trim the paper if needed so it fits nicely inside your bin or container.
2. Tape the Shamrock in the Bin
Place the shamrock inside the bin and use painter’s tape to secure it to the bottom so it stays in place while kids shake the marbles.
3. Prepare the Paint
Pour paint into small bowls. Add a few marbles to each bowl and roll them around until they are coated with paint.
4. Add the Marbles to the Bin
Carefully plop the paint-covered marbles into the bin on top of the shamrock template.
5. Shake, Shake, Shake!
Let the kids gently shake the bin so the marbles roll around and create a fun marble painting design. Continue until the shamrock is filled with colorful paint lines and swirls.
6. Let the Paint Dry
Remove the marbles and allow the painted shamrock to dry completely.
7. Cut Out the Shamrock
Once dry, cut out the shamrock outline. Now you have a beautiful marbled shamrock craft ready to display for St. Patrick’s Day!
